Discmania says this about the FD: "Discmania’s first true Fairway Driver is also known as the Jackal. The FD is a controllable low-speed driver. Once you learn its magic, you’ll never leave it out of your bag. Packed with gigantic glide, this bad boy is also sneaky long if thrown properly. The Jackal is at its best when you need to make an accurate drive and land smoothly on the fairway."

Discmania Plastic Types
S-Line - A premium plastic with excellent grip in all weather conditions and great durability. This plastic is opaque and seasons well. A preferred plastic for drivers among many players.
G-Line - A premium plastic that is more flexible than the S-Line. It offers great grip and is opaque with a unique pattern in it. The G-Line generally tends to be the least stable of the Discmania premium plastics.
C-Line - A premium plastic that is stiff and rigid. The C-Line is a translucent plastic and due to its rigidness, offers a great skip. The C-Line plastic tends to season the slowest out of the Discmania premium plastics.
Blizzard C-Line - The Blizzard C-Line is a light weight version of the C-line. It is injected with air bubbles in the rim to make it lighter weight.
Driver P-Line - An opaque mid grade plastic that is soft and grippy. It seasons quicker than the premium plastics and is more understable out of the box.
P-Line - A firm baseline plastic that has become very popular in the Discmania putter lineup. It stays firm even in the summer heat.
X-Line - A grippy baseline plastic that seasons well. It is softer and more durable than the D-Line.
D-Line - The most affordable baseline plastic from Discmania. It offers good grip in all conditions and seasons quickly. It offers good grip while at the same time giving you a more firm feel in the hand.
