The Boatman: The Boatman was designed to fit all sizes of hands. It is a faster driver with good glide and an overstable finish. For slower arm speeds, the extra glide gives you added distance without having to grip a huge rim and has that predictable overstable finish. It is overstable, while not being to overstable.

Westside Plastic Types

Origio - Origio plastic has an incredible feel and excellent grip in the worst weather conditions. It is a stiffer plastic similar to BT Hard, but has a bit more grip. Origio plastic tends to season quicker than any other Westside plastic.

BT Hard - BT Hard was designed to give the user that firmer feel while maintaining a tacky grip. Great for warm climates, the BT Hard holds its shape and is a durable baseline plastic.

BT Medium - BT Medium is for all conditions. It has a tacky grip, great durability, and feels fantastic in your hand. In the cold it will still have some give; in the heat it will still hold its shape. It fits right in between the BT Hard and BT Soft.

BT Soft - BT Soft was designed to feel good in your hand. Using a blend of rubbers and polymers have given it a smooth texture and a great grip. Rain, snow, or shine, BT Soft will provide that consistent release. The BT Soft is the softest baseline plastic Westside produces currently.

VIP - VIP is transparent so you can see through it. Discs made in VIP plastic maintain their flight characteristics and reliability for a long time. This plastic is a bit stiff and can offer some impressive skips to your drives.

VIP Air - The VIP Air Technology allows Westside Discs to lower the weight on both the flight plate and the rim. In the rim, effort has been put into guiding the majority of Air towards the center. This is done to give better impact resistance to the edge and bottom of the rim. As always lighter weights means a little bit less stability in the wind so expect the Air models to behave accordingly.

Elasto - Elasto is a transparent and flexible plastic that is also good in cold climate conditions.

Tournament - Tournament is an advanced version of VIP plastic that contains technical polymers and is opaque. The durability of Tournament plastic is at the same level than VIP Plastic, but the Tournament's grip is slightly better.
*The Trilogy brands (Dynamic Discs, Latitude 64, & Westside) are produced in the same facility. Their plastics are all comparable. For example, the Dynamic Discs Fuzion, Latitude 64 Gold Line, & Westside Tournament are all very similar to each other.
