Prodigy says this about the A4: "The Prodigy Disc A4 is the latest in our range of approach discs. The A4 is a slightly over stable disc that fills the distance gap between midranges and putters and is designed for all skill levels. The disc is consistent and reliable in moderate wind conditions and perfect for short approach shots. It works equally as well for backhand or sidearm throwers. The A4, like the A3 has a bead on the rim. You can expect it to fly slightly less stable than the A3 with an extra 40-50 feet in distance."
The flight pattern is | 4| 4| -1| 2|.

Prodigy Plastic Types
750G - This premium plastic is a stiffer 400G with good grip. It can take a beating and seasons slowly. It is an opaque plastic and will allow you to keep the same flight path over a longer period of time.
750 - This premium plastic is the stiffest plastic Prodigy makes. It has a similar look and texture to the 400 plastic, but is stiff which will give a nice hearty skip in drivers. This plastic is great for players who enjoy a stiff feel in the hand.
400G - This premium plastic is the most popular driver plastic from Prodigy. It is opaque and has great grip in all conditions. It seasons nicely over time. *This plastic has a tendency on certain runs to get a chalky residue over it which improves grip, but does take away some of the cosmetic eye appeal.
500 - This premium plastic is a slightly stiffer 400 with a beautiful shimmer look to it. The eye appeal is truly amazing! This plastic has good grip and seasons nicely over time.
400 - This premium plastic is often translucent and has a gummy feel in the hand. It seasons quicker than the other Prodigy premium plastics. A preferred plastic in colder climates and with players who enjoy a gummier plastic. *This plastic has a tendency on certain runs to get a chalky residue over it which improves grip, but does take away some of the cosmetic eye appeal.
350G - This baseline plastic is stiff while offering good grip. It is a preferred plastic among players who don't enjoy the medium tackiness of the 300 plastic.
300 - This baseline plastic is a medium blend offering good grip in all weather conditions. It seasons quickly to give you that nice seasoned feel to give you the confidence you need on the green.
300 Soft - This baseline plastic is a softer blend offering good grip in all weather conditions. Like the 300; it seasons quickly to give you that ultimate seasoned feel you enjoy on the green.
200 - This is the most affordable baseline plastic from Prodigy. It is a medium blend and has a slick finish. It seasons quickly.
